The fastest way to learn

Classes are a great way to learn any skill. They’re cost effective and you get to experience the journey with a range of other people.

However, classes also mean you have to learn at the pace set by the instructor which is often dictated by the slowest learner in the class.

Personal training is the fastest, most effective way to learn. The sessions are entirely based on you – what your goals are and your personal expectations, limitations and skills. Also you get to choose exactly what you want to learn and the training goes at your pace, instead of the one set by a class.

The timing and venue of the training is also more flexible. Instead of you fitting around class schedules the personal training can be fitted in to your own free time. 

Training can take place at your own home, in my place in Woodley or even online (although that isn’t ideal).


What Can You Learn?

Unlike virtually every other personal trainer I don’t teach generic fitness and exercise sessions. I offer far more specialist training.

I offer training in all the subjects below and more. You can choose to focus on one of these or mix and match whatever skills you like. There is no conflict between any of them. The basic principles remain the same.

  • Biomechanics of any other sport or exercise
Understanding the correct biomechanics is important in any kind of exercise yet is so rarely taught even by experienced coaches. It means your body works fluidly as one unit producing maximum power with minimum effort and minimising risk of injury.
Personal training sessions cost £60 for the first session and £50 thereafter. If you attend any of my classes you get a £10 reduction on personal training (£50 then £40).
