Trigger Point Therapy
Virtually all chronic pain, anywhere in the body is caused or made worse by tense muscles. Tight muscles develop knots called trigger points that refer pain to different areas. Trigger points in your hips can cause pain in your lower back. Trigger points in your neck can cause pain in your arms or hands etc.
I can locate the points that are holding onto your chronic pain and teach you to work on them yourself. Most pain, even long-standing pains that have been resistant to other modes of therapy can be released in often just a few days.
Chi Nei Tsang
Your abdomen does more than just process food. We also store a lot of emotions down there. These get wrapped up in layers of tension so that we don’t have to feel them. Over time they build up and can cause a wide range of physical and emotional imbalances.
Chi Nei Tsang is an extraordinary yet very relaxing Chinese abdominal massage. It works with your energy and breath to open up those deep seated tensions and release the emotions that are locked up. The effects can be dramatic. A huge range of physical and emotional issues can be eased as the very core of you is restored to a state of balance.
I offer personal training in a wide range of skills:
- Tai Chi and Qigong
- Kung Fu and Self Defence
- Biomechanics of any sport or activity to improve your performance and minimise injury
- Posture and breathwork
Personal training can be done online, in your own home or at my place in Woodley.
Tai Chi Classes
There is no other activity quite like tai chi.
Only tai chi can truly teach you how to hold and move your body without tension. You become aware of your tensions, where you’re balance is, how your energy is moving and how to react to stress in a balanced way without tensing up.
My classes go deeper into the art than most others. I include ancient, powerful qigong exercises to open you up from the inside, wave movements that flow through your body and a deep understanding of the philosophies and practices of this fascinating art.

Kung Fu Classes
Our kung fu doesn’t involve acrobatics or flying kicks, instead the focus is on gaining effortless, whole-body power. This makes it ideal for individuals of any age and either gender as you discover the secrets of how to throw around people much larger than you.
The range of skills is greater than you’ll find anywhere else and includes all strikes, locks, throws kicks, pressure points, weapons training and more. All of it is designed to keep you safe on the streets instead of winning points in a ring. Plus the skills help develop a body that is strong, flexible and capable of withstanding stress with ease and without breaking.
Our classes are fun, friendly and adults only. Your first class is free.
